SLEDDING, TUBING & SNOWPLAY

For customer & public safety, Mt. Baker Ski Area strictly prohibits sledding and snowplay within ski area boundaries. Sledding and snowplay may be exercised at your own risk on National Forest Service Land, located outside the ski area. CROSS-COUNTRY SKIING & SNOWSHOEING

Mt. Baker Ski Area offers snowshoe rentals out of the White Salmon day lodge only and we no longer offer cross-country rentals. For public safety, cross-country skiers and snowshoers must stay off all downhill ski runs. For more information on cross-country skiing in the area, please inquire at www.nooksacknordicskiclub.org.

SNOWMOBILING

Per CFR# 36CFR261.54, there is no snowmobiling allowed in the area beyond the Razerhone Creek Bridge on Highway 542 (including the White Salmon, Heather Meadows, Table Mountain and Artist's Point areas). There are four designated snowmobiling areas in the region - Canyon Creek and Glacier Creek, located off of State Hwy 542, and on the south slope of Mt. Baker is the Mt. Baker National Recreation Area and the Anderson Creek area.
